Biography

[1] Clinton Davis died June 9, 1905 and is buried at 'Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery' Lost Creek, Harrison County, West Virginia.

Clinton was the son of Joshua and Hanah Bell Davis. On October 14, 1863 in Lewis County, West Virginia he married Josephine Francis, daughter of Ruben and Jane Cockrill Francis. They were the parents of Martha Jane, Columbus Franklin, Rose Alice, Ida Ella, Anna Mary, William Merton, Lillie Bell, Etta Blanche and Josephine L.

WIlliam Merton married Gertrude Wells and then Lillian Ramsay
