Biography

It is highly likely that this person should be Sarah Meadows, wife of Thomas Davis. There is a marriage record on 3 May 1819 for Mary S. Davis and Robertson Shelton. Mary's parents were Thomas Davis and and Sarah Meadow Davis. [1]

This names in this record were applied to the wrong persons at Family Search, and a new daughter was created for Thomas Davis name Sarah Meadow Davis. This error has been propagated into many online trees.

So far there is no evidence that Thomas and Sarah Davis had a daughter by this name.
