- Martha is assumed to be daughter of Augustus Parks Davis, through her association with Mary Ann Davis and James Davis. The DAVIS girls, Martha and Mary Ann, both married Adcock brothers (Issac and William) in White Co. TN. In addition, Martha's assumed brother, James Davis, was living with sister Mary Ann Davis in 1850. All 3 siblings (Martha, Mary Ann, James) fit perfectly into Augustus Davis's 1840 census.
