DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Jim or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:

Hey Jim,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code as well as the g2g forum also feel free to introduce yourself at the tree house http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/house ~Matt

I have posted my tree here so that individuals researching the same families may connect to my data without joining a very expensive site that wants to sell data collected and donated by others. Some of my data has not been properly sourced but is mostly accurate enough for my satisfaction. However, it does not meet accepted research standards, so please let me know if you feel you have more correct data.

I noticed you uploaded or plan to upload a GEDCOM. Our process here is a little different than what you might find on other sites because of our goal of growing one worldwide tree with a single profile for each individual. Here's is the link:

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/GEDCOM

Feel free to message me if you have any questions! TIP: If your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree. Before creating a new profile, use the "search function" up on top to see if your ancestor is already here.
