Sarah Davis was born in Virginia (today: West Virginia) or Maryland about 1771. She was a daughter of Owen Davis and Anna Mary Webber.
She married John Wire on 04 Oct 1793 in Harrison Co., West Virginia, son of Francis Wire and Hannah Jackson.
1840 census shows John Wire and his wife (both age 60-70) living on their homestead in Spencer County Indiana. One other male between 20 and 30 is living with them.
Her date of death is uncertain.

Research Notes
A previously merged file said that her marriage to John Wire ended in 1830, but the1840 census shows them both living on their farm in Spencer County Indiana.
Wikitree currently shows that her father Owen Davis married 3 times, but I suspect all 3 wife profiles represent the same person.
Unusual 5-year gap between marriage date (when she was 22) and birth of first child at age 27. Her last child born when she was 47?
