Biography
Joseph Davis was born 27 April 1700, in Brookfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, to Samuel Davis and Thankful Clesson. [1]
On 11 May 1726, in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts, Joseph married Experience Willis. [2]
Their children: Joseph Davis Jr.. born 1727 Mary Davis, born 1730
Joseph's probate record (case 15960) is dated 10 August 1732, and his widow Experience is the administrator.[3]
His inventory was taken on 19 October 1732 in Brookfield and included his home with 45 acres and 33 acres of land adjoining, and land undivided in partnership with Samuel Davis and Samuel Davis Jr.[4]
