John William Davis was born about June 16, 1904 in Alabama, United States, son of James Jackson Davis (1847–1932) and Geneva Tennessee Lewis (1873–1959).[1]

John married Nellie Isabelle Meredith (born on September 15, 1910 in Athens, Limestone, USA; daughter of Margaret (Manley) Meredith). Their son was Charles William Davis (1930–2016).

In 1930, June (26) 2020) was living in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. [4]
