  • When Joseph Oscar Davis was born on 25 December 1883, in Walton, West Hants, Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada, his father, James Thomas Davis, was 32 and his mother, Ida Harriet Tomlinson, was 26. He married Ethel Alma Richardson on 6 April 1908. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1911. He died on 23 November 1946, in Headquarters, Clearwater, Idaho, United States, at the age of 62, and was buried in Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton, King, Washington, United States.

Joe died in a logging accident in Idaho in 1946. He is buried next to his wife.

I am his only granddaughter. Grandpa Joe worked as a miner in gold, silver, quartz and coal mines. Between jobs he lived with us in Seattle.

Grandpa Joe was killed in a logging accident in Idaho. He and Grandma Ethel are buried next to each other in Greenwood Cemetery, Renton, WA.
