Emma Davis was born in Centerville,Wayne County,Indiana in 1860. She loved life and loved her 3 sons. No one knew who the father was to the 3 sons, whispers were said that she never married and a male visitor from Pennsylvania, a traveling salesman, would stop by for visits from time to time. No matter what others said, she never mentioned who fathered them and so it is my belief that she was happiest being unmarried and raising those 3 boys. She had one sister, who did get married and Emma Davis died in 1945.
