Samuel Pauling Davis Jr, son of Samuel Pauling Davis Sr. and Frances Ann (Perry) Davis, was born May 12, 1856 in Walnut Grove, Warren County, Indiana. [1] [2] Samuel Pauling Davis Jr and his twin sister Frances Ann (Davis) Lamb were one of two sets of twins born to their parents.

Samuel Pauling Davis Jr married Martha Emma (Beazell) Davis on April 4, 1877 in Benton County, Indiana. [3] [2]
