John Calvert Davis was born 1791 in England. He became the husband of Elizabeth Ann (Yount) Sullivan — married June 10, 1844 in San Jose They had a daughter, Mary Eliza (Davis) Bucknall. John Davis died in 1848 in Napa, Napa County California, USA.[1]
