Ann was born in the Amesbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1739. Her parents were Nathaniel Davis and Sarah Silver. When Ann was 18 years old, she married Tristam Coffin in Newbury, MA. The notification of Intent to Marry, which was a legal requirement at that time, was filed by Tristam on 12 Nov 1757 and it is assumed that the couple married shortly thereafter. They settled in Tristam's home town of Newbury and started a family that would include at least ten children, all born in Newbury. Tristam died in 1806. Anna followed him in death on 28 Mar 1823. They are both buried in Beleville Cemetery in Newburyport, Essex, Massachusetts.
