Biography
Zachariah Davis was born on 30 Sep 1831 in Clark County, Arkansas. He was the son of Greenberry Davis and Nancy Parker.
1850 Census: Zachariah Davis is listed in the Monroe Township of Sevier County, Arkansas home of Green (46) and Nancy (40) Davis. The record notes that Zachariah was 19 and born in Arkansas.[1]
24 Jun 1853: Zackariah Davis and Anna Edmonson were married in Sevier County, Arkansas. The record notes that Zackariah was 20 years old and that Anna's parents consented to the marriage.[2][3]
1860 Census: Zacariah and Ann (18) Davis were living in the White Township of Polk County, Arkansas. The record shows that Zacariah was 28 and born in Arkansas. The couple have 3 children in their home: Samuel (6), William (4), and Polly (1).[4]
Zachariah passed away in Vinta, Oklahoma and was buried in the Davis Cemetery, Page, Oklahoma. [5]
