Biography

Jonathan and Jane Davis filed their intention to marry on March 28, 1797 in Clark County, Kentucky. They were married two days later. David Hampton is listed as surety. Leonard Davis provided consent. The ceremony was performed by Lawrence Owen, a Methodist Episcopal minister.
