Left by Diane Kennedy on 13 Jul 2016 -- Find A Grave MEMORIAL ID 151446036 -- Thanks for the nice profile of my 4th great grandfather, Robert Davis Sr. Please note I had my DNA tested in 2014. Those stories about Jemima Jane Jefferson's relationship to President Thomas Jefferson are true. I've got "shared ancestor" DNA matches coming out my ears for the Thomas Jefferson family, although - as already indicated - we are not direct descendants. As near as I can tell, Jemima Jane Jefferson was either President Jefferson's sister or first cousin. FYI -- Diane Kennedy, 4th great granddaughter of Robert Davis Sr.
