Biography

Hulda/Huldah Davis was born October 17, 1804, in West Windsor, Vermont. Her father was Jonathan Davis and Sarah Sally Francis. ^[1][2][3]

Hulda appears to have had relations with another man, a "Wm. Stone", prior to her marriage to Jiry Hammond, begetting a daughter, Lydia. As referenced by her daughter's marriage record to Zina Walker. ^[4]

In the 1850 US Census, Huldah is living apart from her husband (in West Windsor, Windsor, Vermont) along with her illegitimate daughter, Lydia Stone, and her parents, in the household of her brother, Lewis Davis. List:^[5]
