DAVIS LEWIS L. Farmer; Mount Morris; born May 18, 1842, in Boonsboro, Md.; son of Edward and Mary; member of the M. E. Church; enlisted in Company I, 140th Illinois Regt., May, 1864; served six months; was on picket duty most of the time.
