Note that Lois Davis believed to be the mother of Samuel Andrews, was a member of the church founded at Bethel, NY in 1828 by Samuel Andrews.
The 1850 Federal census shows: Loas Andrews, age 79, born Massachusetts, female "living in the Samuel Andrews household with:

Margaret, age 54
Ann M. age 20
Mary, age 18
Alzina, age 14
William, age 10
Mike McCormick letter of October 1998 states Lois is of Wales MA. He found a marriage record for Lois and Ludim.
