Biography

Nancy was born in 1762, passed away in 1839. [1]

Nancy's g-g-g-granddaughter, Myrna, told the following story to her daughter, which had been told to her while she was growing up: Ann Davis, as a young girl, while traveling ‘west' with her entire family, the wagon train that her family was traveling with was attacked by Indians. All members of her family were massacred. Nancy was left for dead after being attacked and scalped, but she survived her injuries. She lived the rest of her life wearing a cap on her head. She later married, had nine children and lived to the ripe old age of 77. [2]
