After John's death, Cynthia married James Robbins who was also a lime burner and was listed in the 1860 census for Rockland with Cynthia and her children Francis and Henrietta.[1]
James and Cynthia are in the 1870 census for Rockland with her daughter Henrietta.[2] James was murdered in June 1879 by a prisoner, S. Haines, as he tried to escape from the city jail. James was the officer in charge.[3]
Cynthia was listed as living in Rockland at the time of the 1900 census with her grandson Charles Eldridge and his wife Nellie and their son Arthur.[4]
