Biography

Lloyd was born in 1889. Lloyd Davis was the son of Olaf and Feen (Rutter) Nelson. After his parents deaths, he and his siblings were adopted by their Aunt and Uncle, Edward and Phoebe (Rutter) Davis. He passed away in 1956.

Notes This is Lloyd on the 1900 United States Federal Census. Lloyd's biological parents, Olaf and Feen, both died when Lloyd and his siblings were young. According to the 1900 US Census record image found on Ancestry.com, Lloyd and his brother Guy were living with their aunt and uncle, Edward and Phoebe Davis at the time. In Lloyd's marriage record, Edward and Phoebe are listed as his parents and Lloyd's last name is "Davis", signifying that he had been adopted by his aunt and uncle who had no children of their own.
