Biography

Benjamin was son of William Davis and his third wife Jane Adams. He was born 31 May 1672 at Roxbury.[1][2] He was baptized 7 Jun 1674.[3]

He died on 20 November 1695 in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts.[4][5]

Research Notes

Benjamin was previously reported as born 1640 to William and Elizabeth, however this was incorrect as William's will clearly states that his three eldest sons were John, Samuel and Joseph.

Davis-9539 and Davis-4881 appear to represent the same person because: I did not realize at first that there were two profiles. I had found no original record of a Benjamin as son of William and Elizabeth. William's will stated that his three eldest sons (by Elizabeth) were John, Samuel and Joseph.
