Biography

Mary Elizabeth Davis and her twin brother John R were born on December 12, 1845, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, their father, John Davis, was 29 and their mother, Emily McDuff, was 20.

She married Isaac Murphy Barton Sr. and they had seven children together. She also had two sons from another relationship.

She died on November 18, 1935, in O'Donnell, Texas, at the age of 89, and was buried in Dawson, Texas. Find A Grave: Memorial #16012529 ^[1]
