Eliakim Davis was born at Shirley, Massachusetts on March 1, 1775, son of John and Huldah (Thayer) Davis. [1]
Eliakim married Olive Hawthorn at Reading, Vermont [1], on March 12, 1798. [2] Olive was born about 1776, daughter of Collins and Sarah (Deane) Hathorne. [3]
The family later removed to Erroll, New Hampshire. [3]
Later in life Eliakim removed to Sterling, Massassachusetts where he, died a widower, on February 14, 1850 [1], aged 75. [4]

Philoma, born March 13, 1799 [5]; married John Rice of Reading: removed to Sterling, Massachusetts where died in February, 1872. [1]
Olive, born February 17, 1800; married John Wait of Reading, Vermont [1] on January 1, 1829. [6]
Sophronia, born March 12, 1803 [7]; married James Maywell of Errol, New Hampshire, on September 23, 1834 [8]; died at Errol, June, 1839. [1]
Samuel A., born March 11, 1810; married first Mary Partridge at Cornish, New Hampshire on March 25, 1834 [9]; married second Charlotte E, Keys of Sterling, Massachusetts on December 31, 1848 at Lancaster. [10] He was a clergyman at Hartford, Connecticut in 1876. [1]
Elmira, born March 9, 1812; married Ira Holden of Rockingam, Vermont on January 20, 1839. [11][1] ; died April 16, 1887 at Weathersfield, Vermont. [12]
Lurintha, born May 9, 1814; married Philemon Holden of Grafton, Vermont in 1836. [1]died 07 July 7, 1886 at Grafton, Vermont aged 72 years 2 months. [13]
Lysander Mason, born April 7, 1816; married in South Carolina 1842 and had several children. Was a lawyer by profession, his Residence being Wilcox county. Alabama in 1880. [14][1]
Seth Leander, born June 6, 1818 [15]; married Joanna Brown of Errol, New Hampshire in 1847; died in February, 1874. [1]
