Biography

Alice Davy was a daughter of Robert Davy Esq and his second wife Mary Smythe.[1][2][3][4][5]

Alice Davy was baptised on 21 Dec 1582 at St Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury, City of London, daughter of Robert Davy Esq.[6]

In 1591, John Davye and his sister Alice Davye were beneficiaries of the will of their grandfather Thomas (Customer) Smythe.[3]

They were also beneficiaries of the will of their grandmother, Alice (Judde) Smythe, the will made on 10 Jul 1592.[4]

Alice Davy was bequeathed £400 in the will of her father, Robert Davy of London, the will made on 17 Aug 1589, with a Codicil of 12 Oct 1594, and proved on 27 Apr 1599.[5]

Mistress Alice Davy, daughter of Mr Robert Davy esq., was buried on 06 Feb 1600/1601 at St Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury, City of London.[6]
