Biography
Based on the surnames of her children, Eva Davy was married twice and widowed at least once, when Peter Laird drowned in 1818.
According to the Reid book (Loyalists in Ontario),[1] Eve married Peter Lard [Laird] of Ernestown and received her Orders in Council in 1806.
