Ellen was born in 1888^[1] She was the daughter of Charles Dawkins Emily Sevil She was living with her parents and siblings at Laytons Grove, St George The Martyr Southwark, london in 1891^[2] She was still living with her parents and siblings at Paragon Row, Newington, London, Middlesex, England in 1901^[3] She married Henry Turk in Holborn, London, England in 1908^[4] She was living with her husband and son in Heston, N Hounslow, Middlesex, England in 1911^[5] She Deserted family late 1914 whilst husband in France. Her husband divorced her 28th June 1920^[6] She married Edward Sykes in 1921^[7]
