Aurilla was born in 1861. Aurilla Dayton ... She passed away in 1931. [1]
According to a family letter (of unknown origin) transcribed by one of Goodenough Townsend and Mary Ann Fish's great-great-great grandchildren: "George Townsend born in Davison April 29, 1855 and died in Detroit, Mich. March 16, 1932. He married Rilla Dayton, who was born May 25, 1861 in Davison Township, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danie Dayton. She was married to Geo. Townsend November 24, 1880. They had one son and two daughters. The son, Delaskie was married and had on daughter, Evalyn who lives in Detroit and her mother lives with her as also does the Aunt Bessie. Bessie never married. She was born deaf." [2]
