Biography

Wolsey was born in 1832. Wolsey is the child of Johnson Dayton.

He served in the 17th CT during the Civil War from which he deserted, likely because of his wife's death. He was a shoemaker and foreman at the prisons in Auburn and Madison, NY. In the 1870s he had a shoe store in the Rochester, NY.
