I'm wondering what proof there is that she is the daughter of a father who died in 1146? Given she married for the second time in 1189 when if born before 1146 she would have been 43 or older and appears to have had at least 2 children from this second marriage then age wise that might be possible but seems unlikely?
Is there possibly a missing generation? I do have a book studying the early Comtes de Bar, but won't be able to check for another 3 or 4 days.
Looks like the LNAB should still be corrected to either just Bar-sur-Seine or Brienne ?Medieval Lands indeed uses 'de Brienne' and some other sources do as well, but there also are sources that name her de Bar-sur-Seine, so not sure what's the best LNAB would be for her ? Ideas ?
