William Leslie DeCoursey was named after both grandfather's, William Lawrence FERREL and Leslie Eugene DeCoursey.
William grew up in Fridley Twp, Anoka County, MN, just outside the city limits of Minneapolis.
William went to school at Schiller Elementary School (grades k-8), Patrick Henry High School (grades 9-11) and Edison High School (grade 11 and graduated in 1949. Two degrees from University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Science in Business (1971) and Master of Business Administration (1973
William worked for National School Studios, Lifetouch, Inc for 50 years before retiring in 1997 from the photo industry.
