Biography

Lemuel was born around 1730 in Connecticut. He is the son of David DeForest and Abigail (Clark) DeForest. Lemuel is referenced on his wife Phebe (Keeler) DeForest's headstone ^[1]

He married to Phebe (Keeler) DeForest in Connecticut.^[2][3]

Records show that he had at least one child:

Abigail De Forest on May 31, 1753 in Norwalk Twp, Fairfield, Connecticut ^[4][5]

His will is dated 8 December 1791.^[6] It is probated on 9 Apr 1798 in Norwalk, Connecticut. He leaves everything to Job Lockwood and his wife Sarah, and his grandsons, James, and David Lockwood.^[7]

His inventory was completed on 28 March 1798 in Norwalk and recorded in Fairfield.^[8]
