Aaron passed away at age 49 in March 1872 and was buried in Union Cemetery of Bowers. Bowers Station, Berks County, Pennsylvania (Plot: Row 16).[1]
His will was written two days before he died and was filed in Berks County Courthouse. The executors of the estate were his adult children: Dewald (named Theobald in some documents) DeLong, Adam DeLong and Rebecca Amanda DeLong.[2] His Probate Estate Files include the original will written in German as well as a translation of the will, inventory, guardianship papers, sales, etc. with 54 total pages on file.[3] Benneville Boyer was named the guardian of the two minor children, Benneville DeLong and Jonathan DeLong.
