Medard was born in 1832. He was the son of Jean Demers and Louise Boucher.

Name changed from Demers to DeMars when he immigrated to the USA.

Medard married Marguerite Benjamin on 23 Feb 1857 in Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge, Missisquoi, Québec, Canada. [1]
