Petrus was born before 1722. He is the son of Tjerck DeWitt and Ann Pawling.


Kingston baptism notice July 15 1722 for Petrus, #3022 in Hoes, lists parents as Tjerk de Wit and Anna Paling. Witnesses were David and Maria de Wit.
