Biography

Levi DeWitt was born before March 20, 1754 in Wawarsing, Ulster, New York Colony, son of Andries DeWitt (<1704–<1764) and Bregjen Nottingham (<1711–<1807).

His siblings were:

  3. Jannetjen DeWitt (<1735–1828)

He passed away in 1805.

Wawarsing baptism notice Mar. 20 1754, #39 in NYGBR list, p. 11. Witnesses were John Broadhead and Ann Nottingham his wife.
