Johannes was born before 1709. He is the son of Peerck DeWitt and Maritje Janse Vandenberg. [1]
Kingston baptism notice Sept. 18 1709, #1810, lists parents as Peek de Wit and Marytje van den Broeck. Witnesses were Teunis Tappen and Sarah Shepmoes.
