Guillaume (or William) de Fiennes was born about 1160 in Martock, Somerset, England. He was the son of Enguerrand I de Fiennes, Seigneur de Fiennes and his wife Sybil de Tingry.
He died in Palestine in 1241.
Guillaume (or William) de Fiennes was married to Agnès Dammartin the daughter of Mathilda de Clermont and Alberic II de Dammartin, in 1203 at Martock, Somerset, England.

Sibyl Of Boulogne (or Tingry), married (1st) before 1171 Enguerrand (or Ingram) I De Fiennes, 2nd son of Eustache de Fiennes. They had three sons,, Thomas, and Eustache. Sir Enguerrand de Fiennes was slain at the Siege of Acre in 1189. His widow, Sibyl married (2nd) about 1194/5 Robert De Caieu.

He married (2nd) before 1 Jan. 1204 Agnes De Dammartin, daughter of Aubrey II, Count of Dammartin, by Mahaut, daughter of Renaud II, Count of Clermont-en-Beauvaisis. They had three sons, Enguerrand (or Ingram), Michael [Rector], and Baldwin, and four daughters, Mahaut (wife of Baldwin III, Count of Guines), Katherine, ______ (wife of Flamunscheye) and allegedly _____ (wife of Bartholomew de Hampden).
