Biography

Ranulf was son of the Seigneur de La Haye, who took part in the conquest of England in 1066. [1]

Ranulf was Seneschal of Robert de Mortain. [2]

A twelfth century grant by Nigel de Molbrai to the brothers Peter de Ardena and Roger of the Advowson of Hampton in Arden, records that it had originally been bought from Ralph de la Haia by Robert, an archdeacon of Lisieux (brother of Peter and Roger).[3]
