Theophania or Tiffany de Lascelles was the youngest daughter of Roger de Lascelles and his wife Isabel or Elizabeth.[1][2]
She married, as his second wife, Ralf FitzRanulf of Spennithorne, Yorkshire, by whom she had a son and heir Ralph (b.ca. 1299), who subsequently used his mothers name Lascelles.[3]
Theophania was dead by 1323, when her son Ralph was named as co-heir with his aunts in the Inquisition Post Mortem of her mother Isabel.[4]
Research Notes
Secondary sources, including Magna Carta Sureties by Weis, have conflated her son Ralph de Lascelles with his older half-brother Ranulf FitzRalf. See the soc.genealogy.medieval posting,[3] which shows she was not the mother of Ranulf FitzRalf.
