Elizabeth d'Umfraville . She married, as his first wife, Sir William Elmeden, of Elmeden (now Embleton), co. Durham, who was aged 23 and more in August 1416; and died 25 May 1448. She died 23 November 1424, leaving four daughters her coheirs.[1][2][3]

8. Elmeden, Elizabeth, widow of William. Inq. per br. de deven taken 5 April [1416] at Durham. Agnes wife of Thomas Claxton, Elizabeth wife of John Dalton, Isabella wife of Roland Tempest, and Johanna wife of Robert Forster, all aged 25 and upwards, are her daughters and next heirs. As one of the sisters and co-heiresses of Gilbert Umfravile she had been seized of one-fifth part of the undermentioned, viz:—
