Biography

Mrs. Ruth Deal Hill, 80, died in the Bulloch County Hospital Thursday, May 22. She was a native of Bulloch County and had lived in the Clito Community most of her life.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mary M. Rigdon and Mrs. Tina Boyd of Statesboro; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Livingston of Bloomingdale; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hill were held Friday afternoon, May 23, from the Chapel of the Smith-Tillman Mortuary, with Elder Howard Cox officiating. Burial was in Eastside Cemetery. Active pallbearers were her grandsons, Carlton Mosley, Seyborn Mosley, Haywood Boyd, Sherwood Boyd, Jimmy Rigdon and Jack Johnston. The body remained in the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro until the funeral hour.
