When Alexander II Deal(e) was born in 1755, his father, Alexander, was 47 and his mother, Susannah, was 45. He married Mary Bourne in Virginia. They had at least two children during their marriage. He died on October 15, 1803, in Laurens, South Carolina, at the age of 48.
On April 17, 1785, Alexander Deale prepared a Deed of Gift in benefit of his two sons, to come into effect on his death. Deed recorded Jan 19, 1786[2]
