Leon Decker, age 72, of Bee Spring died Feb. 16, 2006, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. The Bee Spring native was the pastor of the Old Time Holiness House Of God. He was a son of the late Pete and Rena Meredith Decker. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Seward, Trenton and Darrell Decker; and a grandchild. / Survivors include a wife, Ovalene Decker of Bee Spring; four sons, Ronnie Decker and his wife, Connie, of Nicholasville, Robert “Hoppy” Decker and his wife, Pam, of Bee Spring, Richard Decker and his wife, Carla, of Chalybeate and Eric Decker of Bee Spring; two daughters, Revona VanHaverbeke and her husband, David, of Sherpherdsville and Becky Blair and her husband, Raymond, of Lindseyville; four brothers, D.C., Revere and Eulas Decker, all of Bee Spring, and Vanco Decker of Peoria, Ill.; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral is 1 p.m. Monday at the Old Time Holiness House of God in Anneta, with burial at the John Stevenson Cemetery in Bee Spring. Visitation is from noon to 4 p.m. today and all day Sunday at Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, until service time Monday at the church.
