He died, at the age of 87, on July 30, 1923 in Atlanta, Texas. He is buried at the Huffines Cemetery, Huffines, Cass County, Texas.[1]

Unless there is compelling documentation to support the dates on Dees-37, I would suggest keeping the Dees-150 dates.
