Biography
Isabella Deeton was born in Virginia in 1805 to Christopher and Isabella (Lambert) Deeton. She was the wife of Thomas West Lyles whom she married in 1825. (Source for marriage needed). Her husband passed away in 1847 and she is listed as widowed on both: the 1850 Census[1] and the 1860 Census[2] in Alexandria, Virginia. She passed away in August of 1870 at the age of 65 and is buried next to her husband in the Washington Street United Methodist Church Cemetery in Alexandria, Alexandria City, Virginia.[3]
