Biography

1776 Project
Private Peter Dehaven served with Philadelphia County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Jacob was born on 31 Jan 1741 in Whitpain Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania and his parents were William DeHaven and Hannah Cramber.

(Jacob) Peter Dehaven married about 1764 in Germantown, Montgomery, Pennsylvania to Abigail West. [1]

In 1790 he moved from Germantown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania to Frederick County, Virginia, USA. [2]

He was buried on 04 Jan 1822 at Friends Cemetery in Gainesboro, Frederick County, Virginia, USA. [3] [4] [5]
