Biography

He was Mayor of Schwaigern, Germany.

Hans Michael Dieter's son, Hans Jorg Dieter was born in Schwaigern Wurttemberg on 7 June 1699 and married Maria Margaretha Luttmann on 19 November 1720. Hans Jorg and his wife Maria Margaretha wanted to emigrate to Pennsylvania. They went to the police court to obtain an exit visa and seek permission to travel, as well as, to pay the necessary taxes on their travel possessions. At the time Hans Jorg was in his late twenties and Maria Margaretha was in her middle twenties. Their first two children were born in the 1720s in Schwaigern. They were Johann Michael Dieter and Maria Christina Dieter and traveled with them to America. The court minutes state that: ".. Hans Jorg Dieter, son of Schwaigern Mayor Hans Michael Dieter, has decided in furtherance of his expected success to render himself to Pennsylvania under Royal British Sovereignty .." In May 1727, the family set out on their journey. First to Rotterdam along the Rhein River, then to Deal England. In Deal, they boarded the sailing ship 'Mollye' for their journey to Pennsylvania. They arrived in Philadelphia on 30 September 1727.

Dieter-102 and Dieter-101 appear to represent the same person because: Same person.

Deider-1 and Dieter-102 appear to represent the same person because: Deider-1 was originally listed as born 1699 and father of hans who was listed as born 1699 !? I have removed DOB from Deider-1 and it would appear to be a duplicate of Dieter-102.
