DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Isaac by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Isaac:

We cannot merge the wife Corneila yet, because there is still confusion about whether she is the daughter of Van Ness or of Pels.

There may have been two Cornelias, but only one can be the wife and mother of the Delamaters.

So this needs more study and sourcing.

Delameter-7 and Delamater-7 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. These matches have been reviewed by the New Netherland Settlers Merge Approval System, and the "Green" destination NNS profile is protected as PPP, and the "Merge Pending" profile is now ready and able to be merged into it. I saved the data to the bios. Thanks!

I am going to move this Delamater-7 to NNS, rather than the Delameter-7 match, in order to do the best justice to the descendantt line. There are only a couple instances of Delameter, and so I take that to be nothing more than a typo.

By far, other than those two Delameter instances, the name Delamater is consistently the name of all descendants here in multiple generations. There may be other variants used by further descendants, not yet uploaded, but this Delamater looks to me to be a clear choice at this point on the LNAB on this branch for Isaac and descendants.

Delamater-99 and Delamater-7 appear to represent the same person because: NOTE THAT THIS IS A PROTECTED PROFILE UNDER THE NEW NETHERLAND SETTLERS PROJECT. Parents, date of birth, and spouse all match, as do the list of siblings. He is doubled in the list of siblings. Also, his mother is represented by profiles Everts-1, Everts-12, Everts-13, Van Ness-27, Van Ness-30, and Van Ness-117.
