Biography
Emile was born about 1827, the son of Antoine Emile Sapenne Deslisle and Zulma Perrillier. He married Agnes Cock.
He was a wealthy merchant. Apparently, there is a memorial plaque to him in the cathedral of Basseterre, St Kitts.
Research Notes
Wife: Emile's wife Agnes not to be confused with the wife of his brother Gustave, named Agnes Margaret Frances Cock, who was her first cousin.
Death: Find A Grave and Internment.net both give brother Gustave's date of death as 29 Oct 1879, however St Kitts death record as below, give this as Emile's DOD.
